Taylor Garlow

As Assistant Director of Admissions & Outreach, Taylor Garlow serves as a welcoming first point of contact for families and young adults seeking care. Drawing on her background as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and bringing a connection-driven approach to admissions, Taylor is dedicated to helping young adults find greater peace and freedom in their lives.

Before joining The Dorm’s admissions team, Taylor served as Senior Dietitian at The Dorm Washington, D.C., where she was instrumental in advancing eating disorder treatment programming. She revitalized the cooking group curriculum to deepen its therapeutic impact and spearheaded staff training to strengthen clinical competency in eating disorder care across the team.

Taylor is originally from Syracuse, NY, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Nutrition at Syracuse University before earning her master’s in Nutrition Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She has experience working with clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating, and also served as an Admissions Experience Specialist at Columbia University.

In her free time, you can find Taylor watching the latest Netflix crime documentary, reading, or exploring all the sights and good eats of the DMV.
