Rachel Erenberg is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. She brings a compassionate, strengths-based approach to her work and is deeply driven by a desire to make a meaningful, positive impact in the lives of young adults seeking a new path forward. She is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting young adults, adolescents, and their families. Helping clients navigate challenges while fostering growth, resilience, and connection is Rachel’s specialty. In addition to her work with clients, she has also provided clinical supervision to other clinicians, emphasizing quality of care and comprehensive person-centered treatment planning.
Prior to her role at The Dorm, Rachel was Assistant Director at dWELL, helping residents build community, manage daily tasks, and grow into their independence. She has worked in a wide range of settings, including schools, day treatment programs, inpatient hospitals, residential treatment centers, and both private and group practices where she has gained skills providing individual, group, and family therapy. Rachel earned her master’s degree in social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, where she concentrated in Clinical Practice with individuals, families, and groups and specialized in health and mental health.
Originally from Westchester, NY, Rachel enjoys live music, traveling, staying physically active, and spending quality time with loved ones. Her outgoing personality and love for connecting with others help her foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in her work.
