Katie Ikeazota, M.Ed., SHRM-CP

Passionate about team development and cultivating a positive work culture, Human Resources Director Katie Ikeazota collaborates closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with The Dorm’s mission and goals. As a certified professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), she leads initiatives that attract top talent, create growth opportunities, and foster inclusivity across our multidisciplinary team. Her expertise spans talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance with HR best practices and regulations.

Katie holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education, Student Affairs from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oakland University in Michigan. Prior to joining The Dorm, she served in various leadership roles, developing a pragmatic, human-centered approach to policies, procedures, and technology implementation. She also has a passion for working for organizations that help young adults; her career began in higher education, where she designed training programs and supported student leadership initiatives.

Above all, Katie is committed to building environments where employees can thrive personally and professionally, creating balanced solutions that optimize the workplace. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring New Jersey’s hiking trails.
