Grace Schneider is a compassionate and dynamic mental health professional dedicated to empowering individuals to build resilience and recognize their unique strengths. She takes an individualized, client-centered approach to treatment, recognizing that each person’s mental health journey is shaped by a range of life experiences and circumstances. By fostering collaborative, affirming therapeutic relationships, Grace supports clients in taking the lead in their healing and growth.
Grace earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University, with a specialization in advanced clinical practice, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University. Her diverse clinical background spans inpatient care, supportive housing, and shelter environments. She has received specialized training in Motivational Interviewing and Grief Therapy, and she utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Grace is especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients and individuals who have experienced trauma. She also has experience supporting individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, including eating disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Across all of these areas, Grace brings sensitivity, clinical insight, and deep respect for the unique challenges her clients face. Her work is grounded in a commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and empowerment, and she strives to create a therapeutic space where all clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys running in Central Park, practicing yoga, attending live music events, and unwinding with her favorite reality shows.
