Chloe King

Chloe King is a licensed social worker, therapist, and public health professional dedicated to helping individuals build structure and confidence in their lives. She specializes in strengthening executive functioning skills, such as organization and time management, while addressing mental health concerns that impact productivity and overall well-being. Her approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and authenticity, ensuring that every client feels genuinely supported and understood throughout their journey.

Chloe integrates multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, emotion-focused therapy, and elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Her approach addresses both individual and systemic factors, providing warm and tailored support to each client’s unique needs.

Prior to joining The Dorm, Chloe was an Assistant Program Director at a supportive housing site for formerly houseless clients, overseeing programming and providing direct support. She also has experience providing therapy in community health settings and working as a school social worker. Chloe earned her Master of Social Work from Fordham University and holds a Master of Public Health from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, with a focus on global health. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont.

Brooklyn-born and raised, Chloe balances her city roots with a love of bird-watching, travel, and attending live jazz, salsa, and electronic music shows.
