Melissa Pagnotta
Content and Social Media Manager
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Melissa earned her BA in Television Production from Hofstra University, where her internships at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central, and the 2012 Presidential Debates launched her career in digital content and marketing. Now, she helps brands reach more people through engaging organic content, unique voices, and values-driven storytelling.
Melissa started her career at SundanceTV in on-air promotions, where she initially learned how to use research to inform marketing strategies. Wanting to work more closely with creatives, she moved her way up to Director of Operations of iconic NYC comedy club Stand Up NY. There, she promoted high-profile shows on social media, developed digital content for clients such as Reader’s Digest, and produced multi-day podcast events.
Being an overachiever since preschool, Melissa then began managing and consulting clients’ branding and social media accounts, finding a niche with entrepreneurs and performers. It was then that she fell in love with helping others explore and develop their core values and voices, ultimately helping them identify key audiences and reach more people.
Melissa has always personally been passionate about mental health and holistic wellness; she is thrilled to now use her skills to help promote The Dorm’s inspiring and innovative clinical model.
In her free time, you can find Melissa performing stand up comedy in NYC, drinking her third coffee of the day, or relaxing with her beloved cat, Lola.
