Melanie Daniel is a registered dietitian nutritionist passionate about Intuitive Eating and the “health at every size (HAES)” approach. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutrition Science with a concentration in Dietetics from Montclair State University and her Master’s Degree in Community Nutrition and Public Health from Saint Elizabeth University, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship.
Melanie has experience working with clients at all stages of the journey towards wellness, including partial-hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. Following the All Foods Fit, HAES, and Intuitive Eating philosophies, she has supported clients to develop and sustain a positive relationship with food and their body, through individualized meal plans, nutrition counseling, psycho-education, and exposure-response therapy.
Melanie is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is working towards becoming a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and a Licensed “Be Body Positive” Facilitator. In her free time, she enjoys pilates, puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and two cats.
