Maura Mendes specializes in helping young adults achieve independence and autonomy through the support of clinical coaching. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from American University, and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland Baltimore.
Maura’s compassionate and empathetic approach, combined with active listening skills, help her meet every client wherever they are in their treatment journey. She utilizes a strength-based perspective with each individual, honing in on their unique skills and passions to map out and achieve goals, while working through past and present problems.
In her spare time, Maura loves to spend time with her cats, travel, and try new foods and cuisines.
