David Gofman provides career counseling services to young adults struggling with academic difficulties, anger management, anxiety, depression, identity, and independence. He strives to bring flexibility, presence, authenticity, and compassion to everything that he does, and to help those he works with reconnect to their own unique potentialities to live value-driven lives. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) he holds a Master’s Degree from the University of Denver in Sports and Performance Psychology.
Over the course of his career, David has developed expertise in coaching young adults who are struggling to find direction in their lives. He has a personal interest in mindfulness meditation and is a Level One Certified Teacher in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Brown University Center for Mindfulness.
During his graduate studies, David conducted research examining identity formation in competitive video game players and continues to find fulfillment in working with clients to examine and develop healthier relationships with technology.
In his free time, David enjoys reading, running, cooking, hiking with his two dogs, and spending time with his family.
