Carly is passionate about helping young adults achieve independence and autonomy while experiencing mental health challenges. As a licensed social worker, Carly has spent years helping clients navigate healthy relationships and process trauma. She received a Master of Science in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gender Studies from Union College.
Carly’s previous experience includes working with survivors of intimate partner violence – providing individual therapy, group therapy, and case management services. Carly is experienced in helping individuals navigate their traumas to build healthier relationships with themselves and their community.
Carly has trained as an Internal Family System therapist (Level 1) and integrates training from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief Strategic Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has extensive expertise in trauma, abuse, mental illness, the LGBTQIA+ community and relationship issues.
In her spare time, Carly enjoys reading, swimming and biking around New York City.
