Blaise Jacobson

Blaise Jacobson is devoted to helping young adults achieve self-actualization, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, develop communication skills, and strengthen their interpersonal relationships. Her social work career began in residential care, assisting young adults and families in navigating recovery. Additionally, Blaise worked in outpatient mental health clinics providing individual, group, and family therapy. She holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from State University of New York at Geneseo.

Blaise has completed the Beck Institute’s CBT for Anxiety and PESI course in Internal Family Systems courses and specializes in a combination of CBT, DBT, IFS, and strength-based therapy. With each of her clients, Blaise helps them understand their personal strengths and meets them exactly where they are in their treatment path. She believes in the power of connection, both in the therapeutic alliance and in connecting clients with resources outside of the therapy walls when needed.

In her free time, Blaise enjoys walking her dog-niece, lifting weights, playing cards (only when she is winning), watching the Buffalo Bills, and baking apple crumble.
